Corona Update May 2020
The Messerschmitt Flying Museum is currently closed to visitors.
Extensive hygiene measures and access restrictions to combat the Sars-Cov2 (Covid-19) pandemic unfortunately do not allow visits.
The museum is not expected to reopen until the end of September at the earliest.
Current information will get published on this site in due time.
The Messerschmitt Museum of Flight (Flugmuseum Messerschmitt) applies the same safety standards to historic aircraft as are applied to modern ones. The event note “*depending on technical readiness and weather” has been consciously put in because on occasion either the historical equipment or the weather does not play along. The technical development work on our Me262 has turned out to be greater in scope than originally envisaged and therefore could not be completed in July. This work is anticipated to continue until the end of 2018.
